and eurgh i hate the phone its been giving me so much radiation over the past week. last week on one night i spent a freaking TWO HOURS on the damn thing from 11pm to 2am. and last night i spent a grand total of an hour thirty five minutes from 1045pm to 1220am on it too. the phone company loves me, yaye. the home phone/dad's phone = much love. person whom i was talking to: you prolly wont come here anyways, but you sure are a great conversationalist. unlike andy the rock. AHAHA.

well. havent blogged in two days though i totally wanted to yesterday but mom was all "you need to study!" though there really isnt anything to study for. ass week just being over and all, but yeah such is life.

yesterday, i went for the CAP interview. thanks muchly to my lovely class who gave me all their support, and for the sweet smses that poured in offering support and etc. i appreciate it, people! lovelove. anyways i got off school early due to the magical blue slip bestowed upon my person by ms wong may ee, my LA teacher. yeah met you at orchard mrt. and though you were supposedly here earlier than me, i still had to wait for you to get here from the toilet. GAH i realized im always waiting for you every time!

haha matthew was like "guys wait for girls, but you never see girls waiting for guys" today when i was stoning with sneha before training in his class, and i was like O_O dude you have NO idea how much waiting i endure. and yeah, i still tease matthew about the 40kg thing. xD

ok back to yesterday. so we trotted over, then met ELE (hearts!) and sat there and chatted. met mike wee, whom i knew by face and name but not personally, so due to ele intro-ing, we got to know him. lovely. lol.

twas a good day. shan't go into other details, after the interview (where i mentioned i was study and discipline ic of the team, i think everyone's gonna die of shock haha) the four of us trotted to the mrt and etc yeah. went home.

today, ah today! i have decided that there is something wrong with me after a break from training. we got a 3 day break to rest after our 6 days in a row training during march hols, and today when we got back. well.

it was really weird. i was using a boat with a higher seat, and though i rowed a boat with the same seat for the mr500 race (and felt perfectly fine and stable), it suddenly fely a bit unstable. must be my 3 days away. my paddle felt too long (this is a first) even though id been using that one for quite a long while now, and my stroke was plain off.

i need to improve! what mr yong said today was right. we need to have the right beliefs, and i believe that i am not good enough, im never going to be good enough and i have to work til im good enough (which is never, and its self contradictory, but you get the idea right).

and well. im very obviously not good enough.
i dont care. rowing will be my life, until a time where i choose not to make it such.
i.e. EITHER by end of this year (yeahhhh), or by the end of 2009 when i graduate.

things ive learnt over this past march holidays
-I WANT TO BE AN NJC ALUMNI and i mean those kind of 20something people who still tog up in their jersey and gear and come down and whack for dragonboat with the rest of their alumni mates. its damn fun la. seriously.
-i love MR500. im serious. i dont know why, but this is my second MR500 and its been just as good as the first.
-seeing/training with the njcanoeists for SIX DAYS in a row is strangely satisfying even those your back hurts like beep and you can barely move.
-my k1 is damn slow. the NUS rower trashed me by 25 seconds. i need some major improvement. NUS or no, i will close that gap!
-i love mountbatten csc. the people there are damn funny and nice.
-bitchfests with your fellow (same age) teammates always leaves you feeling really really good and happy afterwards.
-you can go down for mixed open finals, whack all out, come up and go straight down for women's open finals and get 1st for women's open finals beating the next boat by 3 seconds and leading from start to end. in other words, miracles can happen.
-i have mixed feelings about being a senior.

im all red and sunburnt and my back hurts like shit but im freaking happy and content and ready to go for another whacking. bring it on. (:

okay first day back at training after thursday. well, omfg i was back in my k1 and i am so disgustingly unfit i need to stab myself or something cuz i am so so sucky. i need to get my fitness and tan back! especially my tan fitness. I AM FAT. FATFATFAT.

anyways today plaza sing with reuben and victor. nice to meet you too, victor. any guy who openly plays pokemon at this age has my respect. and no im not being sarcastic. i like pokemon! the animation nowadays is uber cool. nuff said.

MR500 this saturday. training today and tomorrow. thurs and fri there be canoe camp. i sense death for i will train 5 days in a row from today to saturday, someone please hope i dont die. and omfg today mr y was in such a bad mood. the infamous "you better wake up your idea people!" came out a dozen or more times.

haha i fucked up road run im so unfit i wanted to die and i nearly puked after the damn run. came in 11th AGAIN and only beat last year's timing by 3 secs. i mean ONE YEAR. although i guess i can be happy that even after two weeks of not training i can still keep up to my previous year's record. my thanks to the lovely manda who helped me through chem when i arrived at school this morning knowing nothing of what to do on the chem paper apart from writing my name class and register number. the dear girl took an hour to go through every damn thing you needed to know, from bond angles to polar and non polar bonds to exothermic and endothermic reactions and how to find delta H and etc. much love!

i hereby say that my class is bonkers! and very very ACT COOL. cuz i brought red temporary hair dye today and everyone wanted to try some, and the results were good though. especially with estella the cute/pretty/adorable umbrella as the official dyer. practically half our class had their hair dyed streaks of red. you lot are wasting my money! xP haha but it looked good.
