teachers' day was actually quite uneventful apart from the fact that two months after we lost our first VP and got a new one, we're losing our other VP too and thus we await the arrival of the new VP after the sept holidays. i mean, jeez. whats with our year that so many teachers are leaving hahaa.

after the celebrations, my dear isa was such a gentleman and walked me to the bus stop and waited with me for the bus while i stole and cuddled his jacket (tiff has a thing for guys' jackets. they are baggy and cosy and smell nice, in general) and then eventually the bus came and i went to orchard and dammit wl was late so i bummed at kino and bought a nice book which combines two of my fave elements: literature and gossip (the book is called secret lives of great authors, junyi might recognise it!).

eventuall wl came and then we went out to watch wall-e (junyi, this one's for you) and the bugger at the movie counter thought we were together and gave us a couple seat. but to be fair, the cinema was crowded and i suppose those two seats were the best we could do considering the circumstances. but well, it was quite o.O for him when he realised that the seat rest could go up! but overall it was good, strangely comfortable to just hang out with him. though walking down orchard road with a dude in purple skinnies is like...O_O. (alright alright to be fair, it was for a costume. but still, wtf!)

the typical conversation went along the lines of us asking each other about our love lives and me going OMG YOU FANCY HER RIGHT. RIGHT RIGHT??? (my dear wl, if i have embarrassed you in any way through this, i am so not sorry. hahaha! hug squish glomp.)

and that bugger has an itouch. me must steal.

the weekend was completely eaten up because i slept my whole saturday away and my sunday was spent squeeing over my new giraffe pencilcase which will join paulie's pig and yeehui's horse in the animal kingdom of 1AH. (whee i love my class!) but yes holidays are here i am actually not so psyched because when we come back thats like three weeks more til promos and im so not ready. but i will try to be. lets go tiff! time for the second most important exam of your life! (i think it is. im not really thinking about uni yet.)

theyre also the hugest freaking rabbits ive ever seen in my entire life. that rabbit is 2 years old and it can weigh up to about 10.5 kg.and 8 of them got sold to some north korean delegation who wants to breed them for food. i wont comment on that partially because its quite obvious they cant really be pets right unless youre someone with a HUGE backyard and can build a HUGE hutch or something, and partially cuz i like rabbits so i dont really want to think of them being...

hello. life's been tiring lately. and the best part is that its only going to get worse. theres so much work to do and so many things to complete and promos to mug for and h3s to consider (assuming i can pwn promos enough for that) and ccas to take care of and things to plan and ahhh theres also next year where we will all die horrible deaths cuz the year's passed so damn fast its crazy.

i miss the days we (as in me and the friends) had time to take a break and go to KAP or holland v to just eat and chill out, or just bum after school in the vd, or maybe even shop. our only concerns where what kinds of fun we were going to have the next day, and the next, and the next. the world was at our feet, there was not enough things for us to do and not enough time for us to do them in.

amazingly things have sped up and suddenly OMFG its going to be september and youre like hey wait a minute it cant be that late so fast, didnt i just enter this school like last month or something? 2008 seems to be going a heck lot faster than 2007,for some strange reason. at this time (aug) last year, i would feel that it should be october by now, and now im feeling that it should be may. where did the days go?

im hoping i didnt waste my time here, and that i brought meaning to people's lives through the time ive been here, otherwise i think this year would have been wasted. i would not wish to just go through a year being wrapped up in not-so-important things (like too much studying and keeping to myself) that ive just wasted my life away. i suppose thats one of my greatest fears, that ill waste my life away and ill look back when im 60 or 70 and wonder where it all went and what i did. but by then itll be too late. i dont want to simply study or simply get a good job good education whatever. id like to go out and see the world, and discover things and do things for people that'll leave a legacy behind.

i hope thats not too idealistic, is it. because we dont have much time left. we have to go out and see the world and just soak life all in and revel in the joy of being.

about this long post (or at least significantly longer than what i do nowadays), i blame paul who mournfully told me today that he visits my blog everyday before he sleeps and reminded me to update so yes paul here i am hiiiii.
