Exams are over. Whew. Of course the hell never stops, because guess what? THERE ARE SAT IIs. AND PRELIMS. AND ETC. ALL LEADING UP TO THE A LEVELS.

And even after A Levels the hell doesn't stop cuz then we will all be buried in paperwork trying to figure out where we are going to go for university. Yaaay.

But until our fates are sealed, "let us run with perseverance the race set out before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith." (Quoted off the ACJC sports complex wall. I hope I got it right, especially since I've run past it a zillion times while dying on the track.)

Things to do over holidays:-
1) Study SATs
2) Study all Geog/Econs notes (They're already all prettily bound. Just do it.)
3) Read and reread all Lit texts
4) Finish all the questions in Math revision packages A, B and C (so creative, the names)
5) Do GP homework
6) Finish up H3 Lit draft
7) GO PRAWNING WITH FRIENDS
8) Pick Junyi up from airport
9) Go out as much as I can, whether its to study or to bum!

Because when school reopens, damn if the shit isn't going to hit the fan.

Exciting!
Wednesday, May 27, 2009

Well, lots of exciting things have happened lately, including the shit hole that is mid years. I'm betting half the level is cursing not studying harder for terms because due to the fact that we collectively screwed up terms, K.Chan called for mid years. Extra exams are never good for the student psyche. Though I guess the idea is good, as it ensures that the lazy part of the population actually gets their asses down to mug.

We will see how badly I screwed up mid years. Hurhurhur. Despite the fact that I actually did pretty alright for terms. (i.e not in the screwed up section of the level, whew. Although that may change very soon because Econs paper today was the bane of my existence and somehow I don't think Lit and Geog will be any better. Instead I'm expecting it to be worse.)

Honestly, I swear if I have to write the words "government" or "investment" again anytime soon, I am going to kill something. Curse you Econs paper with your three essay questions and your two hour fifteen minute time limit. (and also with all your damn government questions!)

But in better news, my cousin in law gave birth! (I'm not saying my cousin gave birth because, he is male.) And the baby boy is sorta cute, though I think I'm not too good with babies cuz I haven't really been exposed to many. Mostly due to the fact that this is the first baby in the extended family since well, myself. Eighteen years, wow. Hahahaaa. Yeah his name is Russell and he's very squirmy. Thank goodness I didn't drop him hahaha.

Gah I should be studyinggg ):

/edit: Lit paper was today. First part was okay, second part was terrible. Key words I never want to write anytime soon: "love" and all its variations, and "emotional". We shall see how terribly Geog goes tomorrow.

Happenings

Today's fun fun fun happenings!
- School had blood donation drive and the biggest wuss ever (i.e. me) decided to lose the fear of needles and general pain and grow a pair and donate blood! Yay me, I love the cute purple bandage they wrapped. Went with Hwee, was fun especially when we were pigging out later.
- SATS SCORES BACK. I AM RATHER SATISFIED. THE END (:
- RUGBY FINALS TOMORROW DOWN RAFFLES DOWN! (Heh. I adore my rafflesian friends but lets put friendship aside for school spirit for one day alright?)

Yah sian more note binding times with Nitta tomorrow at the photocopying shop ahhh I am THISCLOSE to failing my midyears!

546
Saturday, May 16, 2009

This is post number 546. Just a random fact actually, couldn't help but notice the little number thing there. Went for Proof tonight anyway, it was actually pretty good. I would say its better than Much Ado About Nothing, but then again I could just be reeeally biased. Hahaha. Lovely hanging out with my girls Hwee, Airi and Bao (who disappeared like right after the play ended).

Yeah nice to hang with the class too. Sort of. Since we were quite separated but what to do, such is life. We must all learn to deal with things like gender roles and differences. Very good for this term's GP topic (Social Issues). Its probably a both sides kind of thing.

Or we could all be just damn dao. >_< style="font-style: italic;">The Beast and who also used to model for Calvin Klein underwear. His name is Travis Fimmel. (Yes, remember.)

The newspaper also mentioned something about how last month a 60ft version of Travis Fimmel's CK underwear ad was removed from Oxford Street because it was considered a danger to drivers who were causing traffic jams/traffic accidents to ogle at it. (THEY WERE FULLY JUSTIFIED.) And then it posted the CK ad in question and Oh My Lord I swear I stared at it for like 5 minutes straight, most unabashedly and unashamedly. Me plopped on my sofa still in my school uniform, gaping at the paper. OMG.

...if I was in a car, I too would have probably caused a jam/accident. I'm gonna put the picture up here so PREPARE YOURSELF! I think he was about 21 then, now he's 30 this year I believe. Now, imagine a 60ft version of this:

Heeheehee. K have to sleep soon. Just realised I spent more time fangirling over Travis Fimmel than I did blogging about my mundane school life. Moo.

Much Ado About Nothing
Monday, May 11, 2009

"Sigh no more, ladies, sigh no more,
Men were deceivers ever,-
One foot in sea and one on shore,
To one thing constant never."
- William Shakespeare, Much Ado About Nothing, 2.3

Thanks Hwee and Deb for a lovely night at Fort Canning! I really like the quote above, somehow it sums up so much. Maybe the Bacardi Breezers are getting to my head now. Lol.

Yum
Saturday, May 09, 2009

Apple slices and cherry tomatoes with mayonnaise = Yum! Too freaking good :3
Trying to study for math test on Wednesday. Failing terribly due to certain distractions. Ahhh ):
Can't wait for Junyi to come home in 2nd week of June!

To do before school starts again on Tuesday:-
File for the first time this year, do GP example book, do Econs case study 3, annotate Lit poem, study for Math test, SCRAP UP THE H3 LIT REPORT DRAFT!
Teehee, Fort Canning on Sundaaay, and Mother's Day too (:

Reread Absolute Boyfriend (Zettai Kareshi) by Yuu Watase, getting back in touch with the manga loving me. Got all fluffed up and then discovered that they made a tv series about it just last year! OMG! So I'm now happily wasting my life away in front of the computer. I somehow prefer the manga though, they changed quite a bit of things in the series. Bah. The main actor is hottt though.
DAMMIT HOW CAN YOU RESIST THIS FACE! :D :D :D

rugby finals
Friday, May 08, 2009

As mentioned in the previous post, RUGBY FINALS ON 22ND MAY - ACJC VERSUS RI(JC). That's in two weeks! Go guys!
To quote Gideon during Sports Updates today: "Remember, without Yellow and Blue, there can be no Green."

In other news, Much Ado About Nothing this Sunday with the class at Fort Canning, yay! & also, GOLD FOR NAPFA! :D :D :D Not bad for someone who is like, damn fat/unfit now.

Well
Wednesday, May 06, 2009

My brother is off on a 50 day trip to India/Nepal/Pakistan. So while he is off trying not to get killed and having lots of fun (for him anyway) doing so, I get the room to myself for 50 days and exams at the end of May.

Sometimes I wonder who got the better deal.

Anyway, RUGBY FINALS - ACJC vs RI(JC) ON 22ND MAY AT HOME TEAM ACADEMY. All invited to come cheer AC on cuz seriously we're totally gonna win! >:( rawr. Let's flood the damn academy with the whole school man. This is some serious shit. Hahaha. (btw, I'm still not used to typing RI(JC) instead of RJC. Damn brackets and all.) People from other schools invited too, especially if you've never watched a rugby match before (its like taupok session of the world, IMO) but only if you're cheering for AC of course. Lol.

Sian lah. Econs essay is pissing the shit out of me.

the weekend
Monday, May 04, 2009

With Saturday SATs and Sunday movie (WOLVERINE!), I think that I have a lot to be thankful for. But thats a story for another time because omg I swear all I could think about the whole movie was Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds! Deborra Lee-Furness and Scarlett Johansson are lucky lucky women (: I want a man like that tooooo ): gimme gimme gimme

One day I will go on a Hugh Jackman movie marathon! Especially focusing on the X-Men trilogy and all his romcoms (LIKE KATE AND LEOPOLD OMGGGG I HAVE LOVED HIM SINCE THAT VERY MOMENT).

Also, I need advice or whether or not to spend more money on game stuff, or not. Meh. I have exams I shouldn't be thinking like this!
